Major reconstruction and reconversion of tanks. The project included:
- Detailed engineering for the conversion of the tanks to a geodesic dome roof and internal floating aluminum cover.
- Dismantling works, final disposal of the removed material, supply, pre-fabrication, assembly, painting and non-destructive testing of 100% of the floors and on average 45% of the walls and wind curlers.
- Dismantling and final disposal of the floating steel roofs of 7 tanks.
- Excavation, removal, filling and compaction of 13,524 m3 of tank bottom bed material, demolition and replacement of the concrete foundation.
- Supply and installation of geodesic domes, floating aluminum covers.
- Supply, prefabrication, installation and testing of process pipes of various diameters.
