Engineering, Procurement and Construction Project, developed in an area of 12 hectares and in two stages. The first contemplates the supply, transportation, installation and commissioning of a 150 MW generation turbine (on site), simple cycle and gas fuel. The second stage foresees a 170 MW generation turbine (on site), simple cycle and gas fuel. It has the possibility of future installation of a combined cycle, expanding the installed capacity of the plant.
The overall Balance of Plant (BOP) is made up of the gas compression and treatment systems, service air and instruments, drinking water, effluent collection and treatment, control room, telecommunications, in addition to the service buildings, control, administrative buildings, warehouse and maintenance workshop. It also includes the training of personnel responsible for the operation and maintenance of the plant.
Increase in the installed capacity of electrical generation in the Guárico State.
Reduction of the deficit in electrical generation of the National Interconnected System and improvement in the reliability and quality of the electrical service.
Support the growth of electricity demand in the Guárico State, particularly that associated with oil activity.
